Office Visits

  • April is National Occupational Therapy Month
  • May is National Speech Pathology Month
  • October is National Physical Therapy Month
  • Corona Virus Update!!!

We know that families are concerned about the spread of COVID-19. Douglasville Children’s Therapy Services and Associates (DCTSAA) is closely following all information and guidance from the ADA, CDC, Georgia Department of Public Health, and government officials. We will be screening for patients who have been in international travel and confirmed COVID-19 exposure areas when calling for appointments. Due to increased need for screening, we ask that you do not walk in for an appointment with cold or flu like symptoms. Our screening procedures over the phone for appointment requests are in place to protect both ourselves and our patients. Please take advantage of the hand sanitizers throughout the office. As the situation evolves, we will continue to update our social media, website and office voicemail. DCTSAA is dedicated to keeping our patients, staff and families healthy.

  • Please note that we will be taking temperatures at our front desk as you arrive. Please allow 5-10 minutes for temperature checks.  We are happy to reschedule all clients and parents who have temperatures 99.1 degrees and above.
  • We will strive to minimize the number of patients in the reception area, and the wait times in this area. To assist us with this, please travel to your appointment alone unless you are in need of a driver.
  • Please leave young children at home.
  • If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, we will be happy to re-schedule your appointment.
  • We welcome the opportunity to retrieve your child from you in the parking lot to limit traffic in the waiting area, as well as, return your child to you after their session. If you  prefer this method, please arrive to the office 10 minutes prior to your visit and contact the office via telephone to notify the front desk that you would like your child to be retrieved from your car. Please be aware that we will return you child to you 5-10 minutes prior to the end the session to allow time for sanitizing the room for the next client.
  • We are in the process of researching telehealth/telepractice options for insurance carriers or schools that cover those types of services.
  • Clients will be required to thoroughly wash hands before and after their treatment session.

We look forward to seeing you and we pray for everyone’s health and safety.
